How to Configure Outlook Express to Send and Receive My Emails:

1. Open the program Outlook Express
2. In the menu at the top, click on Tools.
3. A menu will appear / drop down, in which you should click on Accounts.
4. In the box that appears, at the top, click on Mail
5. In the mail window box, click on add and then select Mail.
6. A box will appear with step by step instructions. In the first box choose the name of the account, and then click on next
7. In the next box, choose your email account (e.g. info@conectu.com) and then click on Next.
8. In the next box, write in the Incoming mail (POP 3) mail.yourdomain (for example mail.conectu.com, mail.conectu.co.uk etc.).
9. In the box below, called outgoing mail (SMTP) write mail.yourdomain (for example mail.conectu.com, mail.conectu.co.uk etc.), then click on next:
10. In the box next to Account Name, enter your username as it appears under the Email Accounts Tab of the Control Panel. Your username will be everything before the @ of your email account, followed by the 1st three letters of your domain name (e.g. charles@conectu.com would be charlescon)
11. In the Password box please input the password you currently use to access the email account. ***It is recommended that you click on the little square box below password in order that the program saves your password, and you don't need to input it each time. This password, when saved, cannot be copied.
12. Then click on Next and then Finish.
13. Then select the mail account in the white box, and press Properties.
14. In the new window select Servers.
15. In the box bellow, called outgoing mail select My Server Requires Authentication
16. Finish choosing Ok, then apply and then press Close.
17. In order to modify any information in the account, follow steps 1, 2, 3 and 4, then select the account in the white box. Then click on Properties in the right column and make any necessary changes.
